Join Sacred Ceremonialist Elle Welch and her sacred team, Fi and Izzy, for a profound 7-day residential from 17th to 23rd October 2026.
An immersive journey into the art of crafting and leading deeply meaningful ceremonies.
We begin the week with a welcome gathering on the morning your training begins. Together we share a delicious homecooked brunch in the communal area at Halsbeer Farm, where we will be spending our week together. A relaxed atmosphere filled with luscious food and magical surroundings, the perfect way to get to know one another.
We only take small groups, with a maximum of nine residential participants, to ensure the highest quality of training. Places are fully booked very quickly.
Days One and Two
A practical and ceremonial intensive immersion where you will create your own ceremonial equipment and connect deeply with the four elements of nature.
Across these two transformative days, we will spend time in ancient forest, gather by a roaring fire, immerse in sacred waters, and journey with the element of air.
There will be craft and creativity woven throughout the first two days including:
- Incense blending to learn the art of creating sacred scent for ceremony,
- Ceremonial wand crafting to create your own personal tool for all sacred ceremonies,
- Working with the celebrant’s candle to understand its symbolism and use in ceremony,
- Exploring water blessings and how water carries memories and wisdom
- Engaging in air, fire, water and earth ceremonies to awaken your elemental connection.
There are no two days ever quite like the first two days of this course. With Elle, Fi, and Izzy to guide you, these will be days you will cherish in your memory and heart always.
Days Three to Seven
During the following days, you will deepen your knowledge and skill in conducting a wide range of ceremonies, weaving together structure, symbolism, and soulful authenticity.
You will learn how to design and conduct:
- Baby naming ceremonies,
- Adult naming ceremonies,
- Renaming or affirmation ceremonies,
- Rites of passage that celebrate stepping into sovereignty,
- Empowerment,
- Cronehood, Wisdom keeper,
- Age celebrations such as 16, 18, 21, 30, 40, 50, and 60.
- Release and renewal ceremonies.
Gaining confidence in client consultation and intuitive ceremony creation, learning how to hold space and conduct ceremony without a script.
You will be guided in how to conduct:
- Handfasting and renewal of vows ceremonies,
- The hoop and wand ceremony,
- The symbolism, materials, and methods of handfasting cords,
- History, meaning, and practice of jumping the besom broom,
- The cake and mead ceremony that celebrates and blesses union.
You will also learn how to conduct civil wedding ceremonies:
- Understanding structure, tone, and language.
- Developing your skills in script writing and composition, crafting meaningful words and symbolic flow,
- Client consultation and scripted services.
- Social media, web presence, and building your celebrant business.

The 7-day journey culminates in your certificate presentation and graduation celebration, honouring your path, your growth, and your dedication to sacred service.
Everyone will receive a post-course pack filled with top tips, links, and guidance.
The course cost for Sacred Celebrant Academy training is £1600, plus accommodation as detailed below.
If you would like to come as a non-resident, the cost is £1600.
A £150 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking.
Options on the website are to pay your deposit only.
You may then pay by pre-arranged instalments via bank transfer for no fee, or by card, Klarna for a small 3% per transaction fee.
Full payment must be received three weeks prior to the course start date.
- This is a self-catering residential course held at Halsbeer Farm, Blackborough, Devon, just ten minutes from the M5 and Cullompton.
- Three beautiful self-contained cottages with fully fitted kitchens, including dishwashers.
- A communal area overlooking a lake with a log burner,
- A heated swimming pool for use in your leisure time,
- The entire venue is surrounded by stunning Devon countryside.

Total cost of the Sacred Celebrant training course plus accommodation will therefore be between £1850 and £2095.
- We provide hot and cold refreshments, healthy snacks, and fruit.
- All breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided by yourself, as it is a self-catering residential course.
